For a very long time I have admired, and sadly ignored, your works and pleas for help. I have decided to try to help one of my favorite translating groups. I may not be very qualified, but I'd love to try and prove myself. I love english, and it's always bugged me when things weren't translated correctly, and it was left to my own interpretation. Please give me a chance, I really would like to make things easier for you.

~Thank you!

Hello! I would like to offer my assistance and skills as a quality checker. Editing software I use is Photoshop CS6, I know how to use it quite well (have had it for years). I think I have what it takes to be a quality checker, since I'm a very meticulous person. I would love to help you with your projects, with the purpose that readers from around the world can read and enjoy their favorites fully.  oni31

Once you give me the test, I will do it the best I can. So you can evaluate me and decide your approval.

Arigatou! :) I will be awaiting your response.  oni15

I have been doing Photoshop since age 7. And since I was 11 I've wanted to be a QC-er. I have only one example of my work, and if needed I will post the link to the scan. I have a lot of free time at my disposal. I digress this. I hope I can take the test, unless I am unneeded.

Sounds great, I look forward to your test. I've sent you a pm with it. Have fun! :)

Hi there,

I keep seeing the ads for joining Evilflowers on almost all the manga's I read, and since I just figured out how to join, I would love to become a quality checker. It has always annoyed me when I see a name miss spelled or something unreadable. I would love to able to catch things like that and make reading manga alot easier!

Hello. I'd like to help out if I can. I'm pretty good when it comes to noticing grammatical errors and I'd like to think that my English and my spelling are of a high standard. However, I'm not so sure about my skills as an editor as I don't own Photoshop (I do know my way around it though because of lessons in school). If it isn't too much of a bother I would like to take the test and apply to see if I'm able to assist you.

The position you're applying for isn't Quality Checker but a Proofreader. But sadly, that position is closed.

Hi there! I read manga from several scanlation groups, and as much as I'd like to return their hard work with my support, many of them are either full on staff or turn down people unfamiliar with Photoshop/GIMP. I recently came across Evilflowers in my hunt for groups in need of staff, and I'm hoping I can get to know the forum members better and dig into some new titles. While I don't have any real experience working with Photoshop, I have been spending the last few weeks finding various guides (Red Hawk Scans' guide, for example) for editing/cleaning/typesetting and teaching myself the techniques necessary for basic editing. I have experience with proofreading and feel confident in my abilities to catch grammatical errors and make certain that the final product will be clean and easy to read. I would love to apply to be a cleaner/typesetter as well, but until I know more about a future workload/schedule with Evilflowers (and feel confident that I can pass the editor test), I'd like to apply and take the test just for the Quality Checker position. I'll have plenty of free time during my week to work (though an alternate schedule might need to be made when I return to university in the Fall), and I'm happy to answer any questions you have for me in the meantime. (Also, apologies for the super-long post. I have a habit of going into a lot of detail for applications~ )

Hello~ I can speak, write, and read English fluently. I was thinking of becoming a QC-er because I'm pretty familiar with editing but don't believe I'm 'pro'. I'm really good with catching grammar and spelling errors, and am confident in my English. (I also love shoujo manga, especially SM Hunter!). I believe that I am suited for this job, please consider!

Thanks.

Hello all!

Although I may be new, I would still like to help with quality control. I am fluent and proficient in English, have taken a translation course and understand the difficulties that come with it and I have also taken a course in the art of Japanese Manga and Anime. With this in mind, I believe I am well suited for such a position and would be more than happy to email a basic resume to whomever is in charge of this position.

Most sincerely,

Semi

Well, the head Quality Checker is ayne. I don't know her current situation right now, but she has recently moved and I don't know if she has internet or not. You do not have to send a resume to her. She will send you the test and when you are done, you send it back to her. All the information you need should be on the first post.

I'm back with internet but I have to catch up with my studies and set up the new kitchen, so I'm pretty busy right now. D: I'll send out the tests in a minute. I won't be able to check them anytime soon though. I'll try to find someone who'll fill in for the time being.

Hi,

I'm very new (just signed up!) but I've read EF's works for a long time! I decided I wanted to help, and so I would like to try my hand at QCing!

I have an example page, if you'd like to take a look at it, and a seriously huge amount of free time, so hopefully I can be of some assistance!

I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and my native language is English.  oni55

I'd love to give the test a try, and hopefully become a Quality Checker at EF!  oni36
