I just wanted to thank you for translating this.  I really enjoy it and had given up hope on reading the ending until I saw you working on it.

Thank you very, very much!

Can we get an update on this? After 2 years, I don't care if its "cleaned". I just want to know how it ends!!!

If more people would actually join as staff instead of staying passive, then we wouldn't have the problem of not being able to release a project. :) And everyone who's a staff member had to learn it, so there's actually no excuse for not trying to contribute. ;)

And, pray tell little girl, how one is supposed to join with no computer programs to "clean" or "edit" with? So one can just join to get that particular project finished and then leave? Its currently been 3 mos shy of 3 years since the last release and this is only waiting on a cleaner? There are other items coming out, so as a good business practice you could shuffle people around because that is what you do.

Just drop it already, and stop leaving us all hanging.

That's a pretty rude comment to begin with. But to answer your question: I distribute my staff according to their preferences, their time and my priorities. And projects that are almost finished (few chapters left) have a higher priority. If you want Platinum Garden that badly, learn how to edit and help out.

If you disagree with my "good business practice", start a new scanlation group, take over Platinum Garden and do it yourself. :) Besides, there's a wide accepted policy between scanlators that projects which haven't been worked on for 600+ days can be taken over by another group. If another scanlation group would contact me on that matter, I would be more than willing to share our work and resources.

Those are the options. If I get a editor (cleaner and typesetter) interested in Platinum Garden, then I'll be more than happy to release the typeset chapters. Else it'll move up the priority list when other projects are finished.

There are a great deal of free programs online for editing and cleaning.  People that can't afford Photoshop or Corel can download GIMP.  It is a really good program and works similar to Photoshop.  That is one of my favorite programs to use.  There are a ton of online tutorials on the internet to learn how to use the program also.  If I need to know how to do something that is new, I check out Youtube or Deviantart.  They both have great tutorials for almost anything.

What kind of skills are needed to help get this project finished?  I would love to finish reading it,  and would be willing to donate time and/or resources to help if it's within my abilities, but I'm afraid I have no clue what I could do to be of assistance! I know next to nothing about how a manga gets to be in a state were we get to enjoy it, but if it's something I can learn I would be willing to try.

If a willing, but completely unskilled amateur is of any help, please let me know - I would be  happy to plow through tutorials and whatever else to learn the skills to help out.

I should also admit that I have better-than-average computer competence and google-foo, so can learn just about anything if pointed in the right direction.  Hopefully, this will be enough to be able to assist with this project :)

Almost 3 years since the last chapter is released. I hope you are not losing interest in this manga. Because I'm still waiting. Thank you so much for your efforts. I'm sorry for being demanding and not being able to help. 😊

We will finish it this year for sure. We just had to re-gather the team, but this is 2 volumes away for getting finished so it will be a project we focus on. We are happy to see ppl are still reading this so many years later 😄
