They should have given you pain relievers (if not, then you can get the over the counter ones). The stitches do help with a bit with the healing process. They help keep the holes closed so food doesn't get stuck in them. They should dissolve in a week or possibly in a few weeks. But when the stitches gone that does not equal completely heal. After the stitches are gone, be a little wary of the foods you eat because there is still a chance of the holes opening back up.

Also, keep your mouth clean by rinsing it multiple times a day with lukewarm saltwater. This not required, but can lessen the chance of infection. If you do do this, then rinse gently. If you rinse too vigorously, it can cause the holes to open up and cause a dry socket. Trust me, if you think you are in pain now, a dry socket is much, much worse.

Yes, they already gave me instructions, pills as well. They gave me some pain relievers and antibiotics.
This isn't the first time I've had an extraction/surgery, no worries. ^^ I already know what to expect. Thanks for the info! :-)

I'm currently watching: Blood+ Fairy Tail Naruto Shippuden Another Kuroku no Basuke I already finished watching these, but you have to watch them if you haven't yet. They're not as good as the manga, but I highly recommend the anime nonetheless. My Little Monster Kyoukai no Kanata Say I Love You Kuragehime Kuroshitsuji Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Shingeki no Kyojin Psychic Detective Yakumo Blue Exorcist Durarara!! Ghost Hunt Etc.~
