  1. I read this series and been dying to know the ending @onions41@ Hwang Mi-Ri wrote it. It's about a heiress who went to search for a husband. But she is determined, strong-willed and smart. She wanted to prove that even without a husband she'll be fine. It's only by her grandfather request that she pretended she's looking for one when in fact she wanted to prove that she's more capable than her suitors. I cringe looking at the story development, anxious with the twists and ending. @onions77@ More info about the manhwa: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=3200 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoosamguk_Gokyo Raws: http://han-file.blogspot.com/2009/06/ho ... gokyo.html And for sure, the story's been dropped by the scanlator or rather it's because the scanlator is said to be inactive @onions72@ It's 10 volume and it's already scanlated halfway till volume 6
  2. OMG..... this is also on my wishlist...... this looks really delici uhmmmm.... I mean looks good. Can you please translate this if no one pick up the project? This sounds like Saint Tail or Kaitou Jeanne mature version. And woman detective sounds really interesting.....
  3. I pray that it won't just end with Kyoko realizing her feeling or one person confessing to the other and then, a kiss and the end. I'll kill myself if that's the ending after trailing after the manga for years now. It's good that she started to realize her feeling but where's Sho? Kyoko seems to lose her focus on defeating Fuwa which again kinda take away the purpose of the story
  4. agree... it's kinda dragging now and yup i think the art also declines the beginning was extremely good, in my opinion.... @onions41@ so I kept on reading it with a hope that somehow the author can find the right formula back and makes it good again... You can feel that doki-doki feeling @onions63@ but then, the plot started to be melodramatic and weepy... how could that turn into this?
  5. I agree... the artwork is beautiful... the story's love scene is done tastefully as well. It's not like those manga where you have the lead character sleeps with everyone she knows nor it is about throwing some random love scenes in the middle of nowhere. I recommend this too... but after reading Ai Hime, I find other works by this mangaka to be quite similar (maybe the way it feels?) that it's like a self-plagiarism
  6. I just finished reading Pink Lady.... this is such a great manhwa about arts. Although it sounds cliche at first: beautiful girl meets beautiful boy. Boy annoys her and they're ended up together anyway... it has more than that. One, it is an art manhwa, using several references about painters and paintings in the manhwa. It's in color! It is also telling a story about the struggle the lead character faced as a budding artist. Thanks to Hira for the link I can finally finish this manhwa and totally in love with it at the moment. I even downloaded the songs XD they're helping to build the mood of the manhwa.... pardon me if I hype this manhwa too much
  7. hahah too many? I feel the same with lat. It's getting draggy and boring. The pace becomes slower and I feel the purpose of the manga becomes unclear as the focus shifted to another character. I'm hoping the ending won't disappoint me or I'll be pulling my hair out of frustration. That happened quite a lot with longer manga where you expect the ending will be bam but instead, it's super rushed and you mouthed eh?
  8. thank you... ~ i was waiting forever for an update in mangaupdates.com ahahah *run to read*
  9. Please pick Pink Lady up.... it's a manhwa about art and full color. So it's very appealing visually... @onions65@ From mangaupdates.com (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=53027) Gyeo-Wul, an art student, is having trouble drawing. One day, she bumps into a handsome guy and takes his notebook by mistake. The notebook had drawings with an art style she is not used to and tries to draw better than him. But, it turns out that the guy knows who she is...! This is a webcomic. http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/list.nhn ... eekday=mon The scanlator, PL fanclub, is designated as inactive so I don't think anyone is working on this project at this moment @onions71@
  10. sounds interesting... this kind of girl usually enjoyed the attention and be the queen or resort to solitude and people called her as arrogant... Reading from the "arrogant" girl perspective surely is interesting
  11. reading Skip Beat, Silver, Masca, Otomen, Hiyokoi... and some others. Mostly shoujo ahahah Anyone reading Masca? It's a pretty good read... I used to read Vampire Knight but I just lost interest in it as it kinda dragging on and on and I just skimmed through it when I read it.... that's the time when I felt I should stop reading it. I wished Skip Beat can have a quick development in Kyoko-Ren's relationship or I'll drop it as well...
  12. I love it.... Didn't expect that I would completely smitten by it since the title's kinda... well... Cat Street.... don't know how it interesting that could be. Coming from the same writer as hana yori dango, i expect this manga to be more lighthearted and typical shoujo-ish but apparently, it has more than that
  13. Candy Candy because my sister read it. Since then, my parents started to worry about me... I ended up collecting hundreds of manga and wore eyeglasses before I hit 12 years old
