My name is Laura (Roora in Japanese) (:

I am 12 years old (turning 13 in November) and currently living in Western Aussie

I don't usually make introduction threads (probably because i'm too lazy...)

But I thought it would be appropriate for me to do since this community seems real friendly..

So let me tell you a little about my self..

I hatehatehatehatehatehatehate creepy crawly things (bugs, spiders, insects, etc.)

Green is my favourite color!

I prefer manga over anime -gasp!-

I am 100% chinese! C:

I'm currently a pupil of learning Japanesee! ^v^ (First year, yay!) (I have only mastered Hiragana.. Katakana next year! ^o^)

1.5 Years of photoshop experienceee~

Loveeee GFX (doing graphics design, art, multimedia)

Love my sister (who is wayyy better at Japanese than me, hmph.. >3>)

and i hateeee spiders which really sucks cos australia has like tonnes and tonnes of spiders and we have like some of the biggest as well hahaha

Couldnt help taunting you on this one. Its called a v. as in the letter V, between U and W in the english alphabet.

 

I love green too!!! and I'm no longer the youngest one that I know of on the form!!!

Those are some awesome talents you have there, Digital art is awesome and fun, got any specialties? Personally I like geometric designs, how about you?

Im trying to draw something on photoshop based off something that I worked on during classes that were too boring to pay attention to.

I would show it, but my scanner seems to have failed, and probably nobody even gives a damn about it. About the spiders, they really are not as large as the pic makes them seem. They can be about the size of the average person's hand, and blend in annoyingly well with trees (one of my friends almost leaned on one once) and they are mildly poisonous. All in all, their nothing dangerous, just being bitten by one would be far from fun.

Hello fellow chinese; I think I understand your reason for liking manga more than anime, the former being usually better that the latter. Anime really shines, for me, during shounen anime wherein you really see the action of the fight scene. I've been using photoshop too... although not really good with it.
