Frame Around the quotes    Fixed

This is a suggestion and not really a bug so it's not uber urgent, but in another thread I suggested having a frame around the quote box, because as it is now it's difficult to see who said what

My post were the last 2 lines, the rest were koko's quotes but it's hard to tell when I post directly underneath it. It makes it difficult to read nested quotes and figure out who said what.

 
Setting the Publishing Time

When modifying the publish date clicking "now" sets the time and date to right now, but after hitting "ok" and "save" it changes itself to 5 hours later. Using a custom time also changes to 5 hours later after pressing save.
 
For example I realized regular members could not see our release post, and I checked it and made it set for "now" which was 4:25 at the time.

 
 
 
After pressing save it says it will be published at a future time. When I looked again it showed that the time changed to 9:25.

 
I had to use a weird time (Like 9 am or something) in order for the page to actually "publish" and show for members.

Editing Members Fixed in new skin update (dispersion)

When going to a user's profile and clicking "edit member" it redirects me to the homepage.
 

not super urgent since it's not used very often x: I wanted to test something with it

 
Linking to certain posts Fixed in new skin update (dispersion)

On the forum if you want to link to a certain person's post, you usually click on their post #, and from there you can copy the modified link in your address bar and paste it somewhere else. Whoever clicks on that link will get redirected to the thread and it will auto-scroll to that persons post. HOWEVER! It does not seem to work after page 2 (so only the first 20 posts are link-able)
 
Example: Editor Recruitment Thread Page 1, 3rd post (Tessa's post)

 
Clicking here gives me this link http://www.evilflowers.com/index.php?/topic/5-recruiting-editors-open/#entry29782 which goes to that thread but automatically scrolls down to that post.
 
However if I try that for any post beyond page 1, it automatically redirects me to the first page of the thread.
Example: Same thread, page 3 post 43, koko's post http://www.evilflowers.com/index.php?/topic/5-recruiting-editors-open/page-3

Clicking on that to link the post gives me http://www.evilflowers.com/index.php?/topic/5-recruiting-editors-open/#entry39927 which redirects to the first page.

 
Bullet Points Fixed in new skin update (dispersion)

Bullet points show up while writing the post, but once previewed or posting it doesn't show up

Although a workaround seems to be to convert the text into pure html code (clicking on the top left button that looks like a switch? Next to the eraser)

@ Frame around the quotes: Invision support just wrote me that they cannot do anything about it. I will fix the problem myself ASAP.

He! I love this topic! A topic for me! A topic to complains! I do it's a lot.

 

So first is it because i'am french that i can't downlaod.  I tought i had to regiter but to be it or not make no change.

My ordi is not working. No money for repear. The contenu of my clefs usb was lost!!!!(cries- cries-cries). Initialy PC portable is for Work but here it should do. 

So My Point is I need some project on supor that I can read online is good but There some that i want to always have. ( did i say that i'm french and that my english was poor).

As far as I'm aware, we have nothing blocking content for France, so that shouldn't have anything to do with it.  It would seem that the problem was that you either were not signed into your account at the time or that your account was still in the validation stage.

We found this http://www.evilflowers.com/index.php?/user/60443-penplum/ which we assume is your account, but when you posted in this thread you were not signed into that account; you were only here as a guest.  So, in all likelihood, your account was not yet validated when you posted, but it appears to be all in order now.

Please make sure that you're signed into your account and then attempt to download again.

If it still doesn't work, let us know, and we will try to figure out the problem.

As far as I know, this only occurs with yahoo users, gmail works fine. (Idk about other emails)

 

If a user signs up with a yahoo account it does not seem to spell the link correctly. Because the email goes into the spam folder, the link is not clickable (For safety reasons) if the user copy and pastes the link rather than move the email to the inbox and click on the link they will get an error saying the page does not exist.

 

This is because in the email yahoo sends out the link says global§ion rather than global&section (this applies to BOTH links in the email)

 

 

 

Editing posts/"Edit by" line (although, as far as i know I seem to be the only one with this problem? o.0)

 

 

Everytime I edit a post, whether it's mine or someone elses, it always has a timestamp on the post and says it was edited by me. But I know that some people dont have this (or at least can turn this feature off....) the thing about mine is i cant turn disable it? D=

 

 

 

In this picture, I have the option to mark that I want the "edit by line" to be added to the post, however I leave this UNCHECKED, and after pressing submit I get this

Maybe one that you can distinguish? I wasn't that much of a fan of the last one. It's not that EF is about a specific flower so maybe we'll have a favicon with the initials 'EF'?

I had that problem as well on my phone mostly. But on browser it works except it takes like 5~10 minutes for it to load.

Just a small addition to the report.. entering only the domain name doesn't work in FF 25/26 (image in earlier post), but it works in IE11.

I guess the cause is a flawed browser identification script somewhere.

I'm not sure how exactly this is a bug but it bugs me: on the reader I uploaded sth a day/days earlier than the release and put it on 'hidden'. When I unhid it it shows for me the date of when I uploaded it - not the date when I made it visible again. See, we released Platinum Garden today and the date shows way earlier... :/

There may be issues with accessing the website on the mobile, I tried googling and accessing the homepage on my iphone with both safari and dolphin browser with no luck, something along the lines of the the server cannot be found.

I did the same too after the update. Before i could access it, but when you guys moved to a different version, the access on phones to this web don't work.

I tried using both my android tablet and phone to access EF with Google Chrome, and Browser which both don't work either. It just keeps on loading and loading and loading.

it is loading now for me xD so maybe it was just being weird

although the mobile version has this page: so you cant see like...the news or the project pages without clicking "full version". If you click on the black bar it goes to the forums

 

 

 

@shally are you accessing the website via google or typing in the address or accessing a saved book marked version of it?

make sure the link is http://www.evilflowers.com/ and not http://www.evilflowers.com/iboard/

ANYTHING WITH IPBOARD IN THE LINK NO LONGER WORKS which was why we had to update our recruitment links too

I did that on Google Chrome with my tablet and it just kept on loading for like 30 minutes and then it says the site doesn't exist. I tried going on the normal browser that is already on the phone and tried visiting the http://www.evilflowers.com/ as well and it just loads for a couple of minutes and says something like the site is not in service.

When I used my andriod Samsung Galaxy s1 to open up the Browser (which looks like a globe) and typed in "www.evilflowers.com" ; it just continue loading and once it stops , it shows nothing. Just a white blank page.

So, instead I went to my mom's iPhone 5 to open up the browser called Safari and did the same thing with my phone and it still show blank white page.
