Because of the movie?) Btw was there going to be another season of airbender? Melita_H Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 I've only watched "Legend of Korra" a small bit (I want to watch it more, but I haven't gotten a chance to do so yet), but it seems like I remember reading that her airbending teacher is the son or grandson of Aang and Katara (um, which now that I think of it, is probably kind of a given, what with him being the last airbender and thus theoretically the only one able to, uh, propagate the species, haha). I love Avatar: The Last Airbender since Aang and Katara are so cute~ BUT I just have to say: Thundercats for the win! Cartoon Network released a new series based on the really really old cartoon Thundercats. The 2011 series is so awesome! The characters look much cooler. Plus! I think avatar airbender is the only j. anime-like animation series in the United States. I heard the series is good, but any time you introduce actors to play supernatural anime characters, it's a big no-no. Unless it's transformers. That's why it has most of the anime features and way cuter than most of the usual cartoons. But the Legend of Kora lack some features. It's cute though. But nothing can beat The last airbeder. Like the current avatars or the previous, they look anime enough. So it depends which one fits as a american anime or not. For example, Pokemon is not as good as it was before. Love stuff like adventure time, regular show, chowder and flapjack, as well as older CN stuff like PPG and teen titans. If your talking about stuff that kinda mimics anime, then Oban racers wasn't to bad, and Avatar was actually really cool on the few occasions that I watched it. Also spongebob. Seriously what pissed me off was the fact they never stayed true to the characters and they always changed partners every season!!!!!!!
