1.What is Evil Flowers?
We are a scanlation group dedicated to all manga/manhwa fans out there. We started releasing in 20 May 2009 and we hope we’re going to be staying here with you for a while. We do not own the rights to any of the manga/manhwa we’ve scanlated, and we don’t have legitimate permission by the copyright holders to scanlate them. Rights belong to the authors, artists, and their publishers. We do, however, take credit for the translation from Japanese/Chinese/Korean to English, as well as the editing process (erasing Japanese/Chinese/Korean text and inserting in our English translation). We request that no one steals our edits or translations, and ask for our permission before using.
2.When will the next chapter of X project come out?
Sometimes I wish I knew the answer to that question. It takes a lot of effort and time to finish a chapter. Sometimes you’ll get a chapter right after another from the same title, sometimes you might have to wait even 1-2 months for a chapter. The reason is our lack of staff member for that certain project. If we have all the members that we need be sure you’ll get at least 1 chapter per week from that project. Anyway, if you want your favorite project to be released faster, consider helping out by joining our team or recruiting staff members for us. See the recruiting page.
3.Where can I see the status of my favorite manga?
Go to the project’s page, click on the project you want and inside the page you’ll find under the download links the status of that certain project. How much of it has been translated, edited or if we need help for it.
4.How can I contact you?
Various ways: you can go to the forum and send a private message to one of the admins [Deus, Tessa, Lat, Cheesecake, SoRa, Sepia, ayne, misserybw, x5ga]. Or send us a mail at evil.flowers.project@gmail.com. Or use this little visible link: Contact Us .
5.Where can I download your release?
Go to the project’s page, click on the project you want to download and inside the page you’ll find links to all our releases from that specific title. Click on the chapter’s name to download it from the main (i.e. FAST) server, on ‘mirror 1′ to download from our mirror server (not that fast), or on ‘mirror 2′ to download from mediafire.
6.Can I host your releases on other sites?
Yes, but with 3 conditions:
# wait 3 days after we released before hosting them on other sites;
# reupload them yourself, don’t use our links;
# don’t remove our credit pages from the chapter’s content.
7.What’s the server and IRC channel name?
#Evil-Flowers@irc.rizon.net
8. How do I use mIRC?
See the mIRC tutorial.
9.Can I join your scanlation group?
Of course! We are always glad to have more slave…I mean lovely staff members who are willing to help around ^^. Go to our RECRUITING page to see the details about how you can help.
10.Why are you asking for donations if you are a non-profit group?
Read this to answer your question: Why Donate?
11.How can I donate?
You can donate to us through PayPal.
12.Download link is broken.
Please inform us about any problem that you encounter regarding our downloads. Send us a message at: evil.flowers.project@gmail.com, request a mirror for the broken links in the forum or use the link on the bottom of the project’s page.
13.Do you accept joints?
Usually yes. It still depends on what project you want to do the joint for and what are you missing [an editor or a translator]. Regarding this: message Tessa on the forum and she will give you all the details. Or send an email at: evil.flowers.project@gmail.com
14. From where are the pictures from your site?
Various places. Contact Tessa if you are interested in any of the images. The credits for all the images used on this site go to the rightful artists and mangakas.
15.Can our group rescanlate your releases into another language?
Yes, but you’ll have to inform us that you intend to do so. Send us a message about it on evil.flowers.project@gmail.com. Give us a link to your site and tell us the language you want to translate it into.
16.Do you scanlate licensed mangas?
Sometimes. We scan them for now, but after we complete the licensed projects we’re currently working on, we’re going to stop working on licensed titles. From now on we’ll only pick a licensed title if the publisher has officially dropped it or hasn’t released any volume from it for more than 1 or 2 years. We recommend that you buy the titles that were licensed in English and support the mangaka. You can’t download them from the main server nor read them on our online reader if you’re in the US/UK, so use the mirror 1/mirror 2 links.
17.Can I request a manga title for you to scanlate?
No. We’re working on what we like and find/buy. From time to time we’ll ask our fans to choose a title from a list of titles, but usually the staff are the ones who suggest a new project. After all, they are the ones who are going to work on it later on.
18.How do I open rar files?
Download and install WinRAR (Google is your friend). It’s free, kinda. Another alternative is 7zip, which is 100% free.
19.What type of manga do you scan?
Shoujo/Josei/Seinen/Shounen. For now we don’t have any shounen projects, but if we’ll find staff interested in a shounen project we won’t say no. We do not work on shounen-ai/shoujo-ai/hentai/yaoi/yuri titles. Maybe only in extreme cases and if we’ll find members interested in it, we might do 1 or 2 shounen-ai or shoujo-ai titles.
20.I got something that hasn’t been answered yet.
